House Call Fitness is composed of a highly educated personal trainer with a strong passion for health and fitness. At House Call Fitness we believe that no two individuals are exactly the same and our personalized fitness and nutrition programs reflect this belief. Here at House Call Fitness we are able to provide a well-rounded approach to each individual training program along with keeping the program fresh and stimulating.
Lynsay Ryan is the owner and lead Personal Trainer at House Call Fitness. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Monmouth College and she is a certified personal trainer. Lynsay has also been a Personal Trainer at the Peninsula Hotel Chicago since 2011. Sports have always been a big part of Lynsay�s life – basketball, swimming, volleyball, softball, and golf.

What is your training philosophy?
For me, an exercise regimen is the key ingredient of a healthy lifestyle and it should be the initial element to create a daily outlook that is productive in all elements of one's life. Through regular exercise, one will gain a more positive view of oneself and others. As one sees changes for the better, in a physical way, mental and emotional improvements will naturally follow. With an improved outlook, the world in which one interacts will be seen more positively. The need for negative perceptions will be lessened. The glass will be seen as half-full through a steady pattern of self-improvement. Better eating habits, including wiser nutritional choices, and clearer decisions of what goes into one's body will develop as a part of the entire process.
What has been your greatest success?
My greatest success has been turning around people's attitudes about exercising. I have worked with individuals who initially thought of exercise as a chore, but after working with me, they started to enjoy exercise and made it part of their life because they wanted to, not because they had to.
